The wellness of Adventure Bound’s guests and staff is always our top priority. As you are likely aware, there is a growing public health risk surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we are closely monitoring the situation.

We have always followed protocols for disinfection and disease prevention. Given the current situation, and guidance from the CDC, we have intensified our efforts around the best practices for virus prevention.

We will continue to update the information below as new information becomes available.

Your Friends at Adventure Bound

As of March 25, 2020:

Gatlinburg opening has been delayed until April 7, 2020.

New Jersey Campgrounds - temporarily closed.

Pennsylvania Campgrounds - temporarily closed.

Washington, DC - open to long term guests.

Pleasant View, OH - open to monthly guests, seasonal and transient camping April 10th.

Eagle Valley, KY - open to monthly guests, seasonal and transient camping April 3rd.

If openings are delayed, our plan is to extend the season for the affected campgrounds.

Our offices will remain open. We ask that you call when possible to discuss any questions or concerns rather than visiting in person. If you must visit the office in person, we ask that you call ahead so that we may help limit the number of people in the office at one time.

At this time all lodges and indoor amenity rooms will be closed as well as planned group activities will be suspended until recommeneded guidelines change.

We have clear and frequent communication with our team to be aware of our policy updates, and to follow CDC instructions.

For the time being, we’re discouraging hugs and handshakes to promote social distancing best practices. As always, you will continue to receive sincere care from our staff.

We will be implementing a check in process that will eliminate the need for person to person interaction.

April Cancellation Policy

Short term reservations with arrival dates on or before April 30, 2020 are eligible for a full refund with no cancellation fee or rebooking for a later date.

Listen to your body. If you’re not feeling well, please stay home and seek medical attention, if needed.

Take normal, healthy precautions that you would during flu season. The CDC recommends frequent hand washing, the use of hand sanitizers and social distancing. Please do not congregate in groups larger than 10.

Safety is our number one priority. These steps, along with guests’ personal precautions, will help Adventure Bound play our part in keeping our community safe and healthy.
