Meet the Managers

Mike DeRienzo is the Park Manager for Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Ashland, NH. His first camping experience at Jellystone Park was with is Aunt and Uncle at 9 months old. Camping at Jellystone became a family summer tradition throughout his childhood and into adulthood. Prior to joining Adventure Bound full-time Mike worked for his family business in Massachusetts since the age of 12. It seemed quite natural when Mike began working summers for the park in recreation in 2002. He traveled back and forth between seasons working in Massachusetts and New Hampshire until joining our team full-time in 2008.
 
During his "down time" he enjoys spending time with his family in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Florida. He enjoys golfing, candlepin bowling and going for nice long walks with the family dog Buddy!

It is obvious to our campers that Mike loves his job. Whether calling Candy Bar Bingo, driving the heywagon, or answering a camper's questions at the front desk you will always see him with a big smile on his face and giving you a big friendly hello! Karen moved to Jellystone with Mike in the summer of 2010 to start a family together. Michael & Karen live at Jellystone Park with their new daughter Grace. "We live year round at the campground, and it is our home. It is important to us that when you are here you are treated as if you were guests in our home!"
