Mother's Day / Wake Up the Bears, MAY 11-13
Hey, hey, hey everybody! We are back for another GREAT camping season. Yogi Bear and our crew are excited to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones this year. Yogi and Boo Boo have been hibernating all winter long and are ready to have fun…we just have to wake them up! Other weekend festivities include a Mary Kay facial to pamper Mom and a complimentary hot dog roast to usher in another All-American summer.
Appreciation / Rummage-O-Rama, MAY 18-20
Spring is upon us and while we sympathize with the pack-rats out there, it’s high time you clean out the old to make room for new treasures. The park-wide rummage sale is the perfect opportunity to Spring clean and even pick up some new things. Fire, Police, EMT, Medical Services and Teachers receive a FREE W/E site as our way of saying “Thanks” for helping others. Chances to win free camping and more! Heated pool opens for the season!
Proud to be an American Celebration, MAY 25-28
We would like to extend a big Thank You to all military personnel. Show your ID and receive 10% off all sites (3 night minimum stay). Other weekend activities include Deal or No Deal for a chance to win free camping, live entertainment at Boo Boo’s Pavilion, and a moonlit bonfire by the Lake.
Boo Boo's Mexican Fiesta Birthday Bash, JUNE 1-3
Don your birthday sombreros! We are turning up the heat as we head south for a “hot” weekend. Yogi Bear has a special surprise planned for his little pal Boo Boo! Join in the celebration of Boo Boo’s surprise birthday party with cake and punch. Eat walking tacos and decorate your own maracas. Mexican hat dance, piñatas and a chance to show off your best salsa moves! Ole!
Scouting Appreciation Weekend, JUNE 8-10
Scout Troops of America come join Yogi for a fun filled weekend of camping. Boy Scout, Webelo Scouts and Girl Scout Troop member’s camp one night and get one night free (sites only). Canoe races, campfire activities and community service opportunities. Dessert making contest!
S'mores Galore / Father's Day, JUNE 15-17
S'more packages, S'more eating contest, S'more pancakes, S'more fun! By the end of the weekend you'll be yelling S'MORE! S'MORE! S'MORE! Dad, this is your time to spend with your kids! Kids can make their Dads feel like kings with Father’s Day crafts and activities.
Death by Chocolate , June 22-24
Leave your diets at home! Try your hand at our chocolate slip and slide, pie eating contest, and chocolate pudding wrestling! School’s out for the summer. Daily Summer Activities Schedule begins.
Fear Factor, June 29- July 1
Are you clever? Daring? Adventurous? Ready to meet Yogi’s challenge? Participating campers will experience challenges of all shapes and sizes this weekend.
Happy Birthday America JULY 3-5
Nothing is as American as a fun-filled weekend of camping. Come celebrate the 4th with Yogi Bear! 4th of July Bike Parade, bonfire by the lake, fireworks over the lake on Wednesday, July 4th. (3 night minimum stay)
Wet & Wild Weekend, JULY 6-8
If you like to stay “dry,” then this weekend is not for you!!! Just like always, get ready for a soaking good time! Soak the Staff Wet Wagon Ride (campsite involvement), water limbo, and slip n’ slide are just a few of the fun activities
Mardi Gras, JULY 13-15
Can’t get to the Big Easy? Jellystone Park is a quick and “easy” getaway. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Let the good times roll! Bring your bikes, wagons, strollers or golf cart to decorate and join the “floats” for Yogi’s Parade. Line the streets on Saturday afternoon and “flash a smiling face” to collect beads. Games and crafts to get coax out the Cajun in you! Come dressed in costume for the evening entertainment at the Jellystone Avenue Bash.
Yogi's Yuletide Christmas in July, JULY 20-22
Santa Claus is coming to Jellystone Park via the Pittsfield Volunteer Fire Department. Please provide a SMALL wrapped gift labeled “Girl,” “Boy” or “Either” ($5 value or less) for Santa to deliver. Decorate your site to win free camping. Try your hand at marshmallow snowman building, sledding and snowball fights.
Island Getaway JULY 27-29
Bring your grass skirts and join Yogi, Boo Boo, Cindy Bear and staff for an island getaway! Tropical activities for all ages. Hula-hoop and limbo contest. Beach party with entertainment and a bonfire by the lake.
Yogi Bear's Birthday Celebration, AUGUST 3-5
You’re invited to celebrate a very special birthday with a very special bear and Cindy Bear! He's the bear that sneaks around Jellystone Park stealing your picnic baskets and maybe even your birthday cake! Yogi would love for you to join him on his special day and help us celebrate all weekend long! Enjoy free cake and punch while supplies last and play some great birthday games including: Pin the Tie on Yogi Bear, piñata fun and much more!
Redneck Round Up, AUGUST 10-12
You know you are a redneck if you can hurl a hub cap or skillet. How about doing a mud puddle swim? Grab a partner and join in the toilet obstacle course. We will crown a Jellystone Redneck King & Queen at this one-of-a kind camping event.
Unadilla Pro National Motocross, AUGUST 17-19
All Motocross enthusiasts and riders welcome! Hot Wing Ding after the races. ($) Entertainment on Saturday night.
Halloween Weekend, AUGUST 24-26
Halloween Festival including apple bobbing, ceramics, games, crafts and Color Time. Trick-or-Treating – BYO candy to pass out. Don’t forget your costume! Carving contest. Haunted Glow Stick Hey!Ride. Site decorating contest – win FREE camping!.
Labor Day Weekend, AUGUST 31- SEPTEMBER 3
Annual Clearance Sale in camp store all day Saturday and Sunday. Everything must go! Save 20%-50%. Activities all day long! Ask about our Gas-Saver program and camp every weekend until Columbus Day! POOL CLOSES on Tuesday, September 4th. (3 night minimum stay)
Fall Foliage, Late SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 8
Beginning late September and through most of October, the fall colors in Upstate New York are spectacular! Participate in apple picking activities nearby. Enjoy warm fall days and crisp nights.
Columbus Day Weekend, OCTOBER 5-8
Last chance for camping fun for the 2012 season. Pumpkin painting and fall festivities. PARK CLOSES FOR THE SEASON OCTOBER 8TH. 3 night minimum stay.
